Ghetto

Photobucket

Ghetto the scorching MC hailing from East London is one of the shining lights of the grime scene right now. With a discography of three CDs 2000 & Life, Ghetto Gospel and his latest release Freedom of Speech which is a payback to the streets from Ghetto Gospel, which was a more reflective, mellow and laid back mixtape FOS is a balance between his two previous releases, the cd features artists such as Devlin, Wretch 32 Griminal, Chipmunk, Smasher, Lightnin, and Yazmin. Ghetto’s Lead single from Freedom of Speech is ‘Mountain’ a bouncy bassline beat produced by Lewi White who also produced the rest of the tracks on the mix album. Former member of the N.A.S.T.Y Crew, Ghetto has built a name for him self featuring on many DVDs such as Risky Roads and doing various shows around the UK and Europe the buzz has just been going out of control. Selling CDs before even dropping a video it shows that Ghetto has built a hardcore fan base, his first video was ‘Top 3 Selected’ taken from Ghetto Gospel which was shown mad love on Channel U and MTV Base. Being in competition with a lot of other MCs in the scene, Ghetto has to be always prepared for when someone might come at him, making shows go crazy with his street banger song ‘Buss 1’ which is banned from radio but the fans love it which is the most important thing. Aiming to be a role model of the youth of today Ghetto coming from an area where life is not so great he is making something of his life through his music.

What have we got to look forward to from Ghetto?

J. Clarke Enterprise has a few projects coming out such as F*** Radio DVD, Ghetto Gospel (Deluxe edition) and the forthcoming untitled album due to release end of 2008.
