Joel: How did you get the name gigz and where does hollow man fit into your image?
Giggs: Giggler was my name from the roads before but then I shortened it down to Giggs. When I started spitting on the rap thing I had an alias which was Hollow Man get me, can’t be seen on the beat all low key something like the invisible man.
Joel: How are you finding the music industry right now?
Giggs: I’m not even really in the industry, I’m independent I do everything myself off my own back.
Joel: Are you serious about your music or is it just a hobby?
Giggs: Yeah I’m serious about it now still, I wasn’t really before but recently I’ve just been trying to take it to a different level.
Joel: In many songs you have said SN1, what is SN1?
Giggs: SN1 that’s the team I’m with Spare No 1 that’s myself, Joe Grind, Kyzer, Gunna D, T. Boost, Terminator, Boom Blast (producer), Simple (producer) & anytime you hear SN1 you no that’s my team.
Joel: What are the reasons why you got banned from Lil Wayne’s show?
Giggs: Not even sure bro… I was meant too do the show then the promoter rang me and said he jus got off the phone with the police and there saying I cant do the show as it is a security risk. That’s what they say maybe they didn’t want me on there. Who knows?
Joel: How Far are you looking to take you music?
Giggs: I’m looking to take it as far as I can, to a hole different level like you see the way it is in
Joel: Would you go commercial?
Giggs: Nah (lol) that aint happening (lol) you see what it is yeah, I’m not on all that watering down sh**. I don’t know weather people are telling commercial artists how to make their music but if I’m not feeling an idea I’m not on it but most of my ideas come from my self.
Joel: What is the concept behind ‘Walk in the Park’ your latest project?
Giggs: W.I.T.P is about me, my life what’s been going on in my life & where I’m looking to take my music, some reality issues. The name W.I.T.P means its nothing to me just banged out the tunes presto.
Joel: I have heard you are doing a new mixtape featuring a few grime artists how did this connection come about? Is this even true?
Giggs: Nah that doesn’t even exist, I have done a tune with ghetto he’s like the family but otherwise I aint doing no mixtape with any grime artists.
Joel: Who are your inspirations to do what you do music wise?
Giggs: I kind of inspire myself, I listen to a bit of SP (Styles P), Rick Ross Young Jeezy and that’s about it.
Joel: Where do you see you’re self in the next 2 years?
Giggs: I don’t even want to answer that one (lol) I want to see myself on top of the game just put it that way. I’m not goner say I’m goner be there because if I’m not its kinder mad.
Joel: What
Giggs: Boy, I don’t really want to collaborate with anyone, the whole team around me everyone is hard so I’m happy with the team I work with already.
Joel: What advice would you give to someone who is in the same position as you was when you started out?
Giggs: Keep going hard, don’t give up and don’t let the haters or black balers stop you.
Joel: If you were asked to sum you’re your self up in 5 words, what would you say?
Giggs: I don’t know man (Lol) that’s on the spot (lol) Giggs, Hollow Man, Ice Cream Man, Sn1, The hardest.
Joel: What is the relationship with SN1 and OTB?
Buck: It’s just a family thing, were friends first and foremost me and Giggs being into music and that I used to do intros on his tunes then after I was in the studio spitting then man said rah it was good and that, we done a tune and from then the rest is history. Its friendship but were talented musicians as well.
